Artist Talk and Spoilsport show
My painting exhibit is still up at SPACE 242, and I’ll be there Tuesday, August 18, 7-8pm for an artist talk. The other artists and I now showing at the gallery will discuss our current exhibitions, our work process, and answer questions. If you still haven’t had a chance to check out the exhibit it would be a great time to stop by.
Spoilsport is very excited to be playing at Jacque’s Cabaret Friday, August 21 2009. Jacques is located at 79 Broadway, Boston, MA in the theatre district. Admission is $10 and gives you access to both the drag show(!) and rock show. 21+ 8:30pm-12am. Nearest subway stops: Green Line-Arlington Street, Orange Line-New England Medical Center. Our friends Thick Shakes and The Great Buriers will also be playing.

New Mural at Greenward – GRAND OPENING!
I recently completed a new mural at Greenward, Cambridge, MA’s friendly neighborhood eco-boutique that just moved to a bigger and brighter location at 1764 Massachusetts Avenue. To celebrate the opening of the new store, they are throwing a grand opening shindig today, (Thursday March 12, 2009). Everything will be 15% off during the party– and they will have treats from like-minded local businesses: beer provided by Peak Organic and pizza brought to you by our neighbor Stone Hearth Pizza. See you there!

Then Tuesday, October 16th Spoilsport plays at the newly remodeled O’Brien’s in Allston with The Winsome Griffles (from San Francisco), and The Stay At Home Ramblers. Should be a very fun show.

My good friend David Kelly made this watercolor painting for my birthday. Isn’t it sweet? David is the creator of Steven Comics and co-editor of the Boy Trouble series. It’s not so bad getting another year older when you get something super cool like this. Thanks David! (Click on the image to see it bigger.)
